Slim Fit 1930s Cream Lace Wedding Dress This 1930s lace dress from the 1930s is one slim fitting gown. It's a cream lace and was most likely a wedding dress. We show it over a silk bias cut slip. The sleeves are long and fitted with just a hint of gathering at the cap and a bit of gathering up at the wrist. The high neckline has shirring at the front - these would look great with a brooch or dress clip. The body has the "V" under bust seam and bias cut fit of the 30s. There are side snap closures, wrist snap closures and snaps under the covered buttons at the center back neck. Label: none Size: XS. Size: Bust: 34" Waist: 25" Hips: 34" Shoulders: 13" Sleeves: 25" CB Neck to Waist: 15" Waist to Hem: 42" Hem circumference: 94" Condition: Very Good . Freshly laundered. There are some very discreet repairs to the lace. The largest is an almost un-noticeable are at the shoulder that has been backed by hand with a matching net. We show a close-up.  Click here for photos Order Here | Chic 1960s Cream Beaded Crepe Cocktail Dress from Suzy Perette This chic cocktail dress is from a perennial favorite, Suzy Perette. The line is slim with a straight skirt and wide midriff band. Then a blouson bodice over that. The bodice and waist are beaded with pearls, silver bugle beads and aurora borealis sequins in floral sprays/ The dress is lined in taffeta. The back closes with a metal zipper through the skirt and under bodice. The over bodice has a a back split and closes with a rouleau tie. Neat dress. Labels: Suzy Perette Size: Labeled a 12. Bust: 36", Waist: 26", Hips: 40", Shoulder to Waist: 17", Waist to Hem: 26", Hen Sweep: 38" Condition: Very, very good, the beads are intact, and there are no holes. There is just the slightest darkening along the shoulder seams, the armhole and the neckline edges as shown. This is very faint. Dress is freshly dry-cleaned. SOLD! |

Starr did a lot of beaded and glitzy evening and cocktail looks, so this is one of their more restrained designs. The deep cream lace is set off by a olive green silk bow and band. This dress is structured as an attached lace over blouse with its own metal zipper over a under dress with crepe bodice with lined lace skirt. The bow rests on the over blouse, the green band on the under dress. The under dress has its own metal zipper as well. Label: Malcolm Starr New York Size: Bust: 38", Waist: 28", Hips: 41" , Shoulders: approx. 16" , Shoulder to Waist: 17", Shoulder to Hem: 44" Hem Sweep: 42" .  Order #MB448 Click here for photos Order Here | 1916 - 18 Silk Tulle Wedding Dress Large Size NEW LISTING This ethereal dress form the Teens is an accomplished mixture of silk tulle net, crepe de chine and a iridescent weave not unlike duppioni silk. This deep ivory wedding gown has a silk lining, with a tucked and gathered tulle overlay and then embroidered and appliquéd crepe de chine bodice and apron panels. It’s as light and airy a dress as you can imagine. And remarkable to find a net dress in this condition. Silk tulle is as fine a net as you can find. The interior has a wide waist bad to hold the dress in place. The bell sleeves have pointed hems and ruffle ticks as well. Label: none, but professionally sewn quality. Size: Bust: 36",Waist: 29“, Hips: 40“, Shoulders: 16”, Sleeves: 20”, Shoulder to Waist: 15 1/2", Waist to Hem: 33 1/2”, Hem Sweep: 66”. Condition: Excellent. The only visible flaws are 2 pin dot spots on the bodice and a ¼’ spot on the skirt as shown. The underarms have light stains on the interior only. Price: $475 |
